In addition to her law practice, Ms. Waldron is an adjunct professor for CharlotteLaw's Paralegal Certificate Program in Charlotte, where she shares over 20 years of law experience, having started as a legal secretary and paralegal before becoming an attorney.
Ms. Waldron is also currently serving as 2016-2017 Chair of the Immigration Section of the Mecklenburg County Bar.
Joan M. Waldron is the managing attorney of Waldron Law Firm PLLC. Her practice consists primarily of family-based immigration. Ms. Waldron graduated cum laude from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a B.A. in English, and is a member of Sigma Tau Delta. She obtained her Juris Doctor from the Charlotte School of Law (where she has the distinction of being the first student of the school), was a founding member of the Charlotte Law Moot Court and served as the first Associate Justice of Finance.
